Assumptions: Studies have determined that a professional estimator measuring blueprints using a mouse or a digitizer (with paper plans) can complete a takeoff in 1/10th of the time it would normally take to do by hand. We are using a reduced rate of 1/6 for these calculations. We also assume that you will eliminate the printing of paper for estimating by using this system.
